All Lips...They were probably the size of a stump!

Ok I'm going to combine two stories in one here. Remember that one time when Rachie's lips grew to the "size of a stump?" I think we were in Georgia and Rachel got these horrible cold sores ALL over her lips. In fact, I think her lips WERE one huge cold sore. She couldn't eat, brush her teeth, or talk really...I guess at the time it was probably miserable for poor little Rachie, but let's be honest! Those pictures are awesome. I just couldn't stop laughing!

And then the genious we have for a Dad. I know we haven't forgotten this one because we constantly make fun of him. I just remember driving through the golf course. Dad was on an intense lookout for eagles (like he always is) and spotted one. I'm pretty sure he was completely fascinated because his eyes got real big-like and he yelled "Look at that one!!....why, it's as big as a STUMP!"

Ok Dad, it was probably really great, but as big as a "STUMP?" Let's be honest, a stump is the first thing I think of when I see something big...or better yet, a big BIRD-JUST KIDDING! I don't know where in the world that one came from. But I guess I should have expected something that random to come from him.

So from lips to stumps I guess I am my father's daughter-I just had to integrate these two stories!

Tootsie Roll Trails

Do you guys remember when Mom would put out a trail of Tootsie Rolls to lead us to her while we took naps. I do! And I LOVED them! I would get so excited when I woke up. It WAS Mom's fault when we weren't hungry for dinner. She "sweeted us up!" But I also remember the tragic day wen Mom stopped doing it. I don't remember how old I was, but it made me depressed! I hate growing up:) And from then on I hated taking naps. Because who wants to fall asleep only to wake up to no Tootsie Roll trails?

Pumpkins and Cricket Noises

Mom: Let's carve pumpkins!
Me: Carve what Mom?
Mom: Nothing
Me: Say it again!!
Mom:NO!!!
Me: Okay, then make your cricket noise!!
Mom: ......No reply, just a glare

Hee Hee! I Love the way Mom says pumpkin! There's just something about it that makes me giggle. And her cricket noise? I don't know where she came up with that one. I can just imagine herself making that noise to herself and being like "Hey! I sound like a cricket!" I LOVE you mom!

Dad....WHAT in the WORLD is that?

Remember that one time when we were running by the high school and dad's Gs popped right out of his pant leg into the middle of the street? So much for the sacredness of garments-Dad just flashes them and ditches them in the streets! Ok, and who rolls their dirty underwear up into the clothes they plan on wearing again anyway? ha oh wait...Dad does!! Gotta love it!

I la la LOVE you girls!!

Alrighty! So i have this AMAZING AMAZING idea! I was just thinking about some great experiences we have had over the years and i never want to forget them. Then i thought about writing them down which then made me think about blogging! So i want all of us to start recording them when we think about them. It'll be so fun to get each other's perspective on it. Then we can add or what not to the stories one of us writes down. But keep this hush hush because my little brain just kept thinking!! We could keep doing this all summer and fall and then print it out and give it to mom and dad for CHRISTMASU!!! yes? YES! I know it. .. i am a THINKER!! Ok well i'm going to call you guys tonight so we can start on this thing! So start thinking of great stories. It can be just about you, or about anyone really. I just think we have had some funny times and we need to remember them!! I'll call you later! and CONGRATS TO RACHIE POO for FREAKIN WINNING STUDENT BODY!! AND BLOCKHEAD! YOU BETTER WIN STATE FOR ME!! i love you guys so much!!
